Additional: Vesta J. Parmelee, 70, Legacy Oaks Circle, Roswell, Ga., formerly of New Bremen, died at noon Saturday, March 24, 2001, at the North Fulton Hospital in Alpharetta, Ga. She was born June 11, 1930 in East Canton; the daughter of the Rev. Lewis G. and Anna Betty (Fry) Fritz. Her father was a pastor in New Bremen. On June 19, 1954, in New Bremen, she married Robert E. Parmelee, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Christian Gardiner Parmelee of Roswell, Ga., and Clayton Lewis Parmelee of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; and a brother, Finley M. Fritz of Lakeside, Calif. Mrs. Parmelee, formerly of McCutchenville, was a first grade teacher for many years. She taught in Parma, Abington, Pa., Melrose, Mass., Rochester, N.Y., Westfield, N.J. and Severna Park, Md. She was also a Sunday School teacher and superintendent for many years. A gradute of Heidelberg College in Tiffin, she was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Ga. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bringman Clark and Co. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in McCutchenville. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
