Additional: Two Auglaize countians lost their lives in automobile accidents within the last 24 hours. Adolph Pape 79, 121 N. Water Street, New Bremen, was fatally injured at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday in a two car collision at highways 66 and 119, north of Minster. Roger H. Miller, 37, 309 West Silver Street, Wapakoneta was killed about 6 a.m. today (12-8)in a one-car accident on U.S 25 just south of the interchange of U.S. 30 at Lima.... Mr. Pape was a retired boiler engineer and machinist of the Beatrice Food plant at New Bremen. He was born Dec.10, 1881, in New Bremen, a son of Frederick and Mina Heil Pape. On April 24, 1920 he married Mariann Blanke who survives along with two daughters, Mrs. Ned (Marjorie) Metzger and Mrs. Everett (Barbara) Schmidt, both of New Bremen, one granddaughter, a sister, Mrs. Linda Hoverman, Delphos and two brothers, Alvin and Carl Pape, New Bremen. There are many friends who share the family's bereavement. Mr. Pape was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, New Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Bremen, with Dr. E.H. Bassler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after Friday noon.
