Additional: Pauline W. Nelson, 97, St. Marys, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Wapakoneta Manor. She was born Sept 30, 1903, in Franklin Township, Mercer County, the daughter of David J. and Christina (Mox) Temple. On April 10, 1928, she married Clinton C. Nelson, who died Sept. 13, 1968. Survivors include a daughter, Betty J. Nelson of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Lewis, Luther, Robert, Lincoln, Harold and Guy Temple; a sister, Naomi Davis; and Charles Garwick, who lived with the Nelsons as a youth. A homemaker, Mrs. Nelson worked with the Woolen Mills in St. Marys and Mersman Furniture Co. in Celina. She was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral home in Wapakoneta with the Rev. Ruth Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Wayne Street United Methodist Church or the Wapakoneta Manor Activity Fund.
