She was born Dec. 8, 1923, in Washington Township, Auglaize County, to George and Sophia (Vohs) Clausing. On June 19, 1948, she married Marvin Nuss and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Allen and Jim, both of St. Marys; a daughter and her husband, Elaine and Joe Mayberry, Columbus Grove; a sister, Clara McDermitt, St. Marys; and a grandson. She was a homemaker and a 1941 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hannah Circle of the church and the Rural Women's Club. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Patricia Minnich officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to St. Ritaís Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
