Deceased are a son, Don R., a brother, Alton Schaefer, a sister, Helen Schaefer, a grandson and a great-grandson. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. Patricia Minnick officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 3-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to the church's memorial fund, New Bremen Emergency Squad or to Otterbein-St. Marys.
