She was born July 23, 1918, in Lexy, Ga., to Joseph and Lottie (McKinzie) Wynn. On May 11, 1935, she married Paul A. McKinney Sr., who died Oct. 4, 1997. Survivors are a son, Paul A. Jr. of St. Marys; two daughters, Mildred E. Hussey and Janice L. Brown, both of St. Marys; a brother and his wife, O.B. and Beryl Wynn, Auburndale, Fla.; a sister, Myrle Smith, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Joseph Franklin Wynn, and two sisters, Kathrine Vondell Welch and Marjorie Powell. She was retired from the trimming department at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., and was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, both of St. Marys. Private family services were held at Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. David L. Woodyard officiated. Burial was at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys. Contributions can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer society.
