Additional: Died. Moser — Mrs. Salme Moser, on Monday, July 3, 1882, aged 59 years, 5 months and 3 days. Mrs. Moser was born on the 30th of January, 1823, in Kehl Grossherzog in Baden; was united in marriage to J. J. Moser in 1843. She had seen the suns set in many lands, France, Switzerland and Spain. In 1852 with her husband she emigrated to America, where they remained for a time in New York; thence they removed to Brooklyn; then to New Jersey; then to Cincinnati; then to Moscow, Ohio, and finally, in 1861, the family settled in Wapakoneta, where she remained surrounded by her family and friends until her death. She was the mother of nine children six of whom, four daughters and two sons, survive her. The family of which Mr. J. J. Moser, who died about a year ago, was the head, is one of the best and most highly respected in the entire community. With the departure of the mother all that remain are only the children now all grown to manhood and womanhood. In the loneliness and the great sorrow with which they must be feel bowed down at losing within so short a time both father and mother, they have they sympathy of the entire community. She was a lady universally respected and esteemed on account of her many womanly qualities to which were added a quiet, retiring disposition, devotion to home, love for her children and consideration for her friends. Peace to her ashes. Funeral services were held at her late residence on Auglaize street, Rev. Burkhart officiating.
