Additional: Condensed: The life of Steven T. Lyle was sacrificed last Friday to the dangerous practice of "hopping sleighs." The youth in the company of two other boys of his age, was enjoying this sport on Cental Avenue in Lima while on their way to school. They "hopped" a bob sled loaded with logs and driven by Mr. H. Crawford...The sleigh stuck the curb throwing the logs and pinning young Lyle and his companion, Brunett Halters to the ground. Both boys were carried to their homes but it was evident that young Lyle could not live as his skull was fractured... The parents of the boy are well known in the eastern part of the county, where they resided for many years prior to their removal to Lima about four years ago.
