Additional: Luther F. Link, 78, of 636 Hamilton St. Bellefontaine, died Wednesday, November 2, 1994, at 5:10 a.m. at Community Hospital, Springfield. He was born September 26, 1916, in Wapakonta, the son of Roy and Lucinda (Eversman) Link. He was married to Betty K. Allen, who survives. Mr. Link is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Keith "Skip" and Natalie Link of Urbana and Kim Link of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Celynn) Taylor of Bellefontaine and Linda Sue Link of Tucson, Ariz; five grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Link of Wapakoneta; four sisters, Mrs. Wilbur (Louise) Harris of New Jersey, Mrs. William (Kathryn) Ferguson, Mrs. John (Goldie) Weber, Mrs. George (Rosine) Ruck, all of Wapakoneta; four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Virgil (Helen) Link of Wapakoneta, Mrs. Joe (Evelyn) Woods of Bellefontaine, Annabelle Myers and Mary Grove both of Urbana; and one brother-in-law Richard Allen of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Link. Mr Link was employed for 32 years with Westinghouse Electric in Bellefontaine until his retirement in 1978. He served in management capacity. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the Bellefontaine Disable American Veterans. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church. He was a past president of the Logan County Humane Society of which he was an original founder. He was the president of the Council on Aging with the Senior Citizens Group 2. Funeral services wil begin Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, with Pastor David Moreland officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clark County Dialysis Center, Springfield.
