Additional: St. Marys—Mrs. Emma Marie Lammers, 78, 225 North Wayne St, St. Marys, died at 10 p.m. Sunday at her residence following a heart attack. Born December 22, 1890, she was the daughter of William and Sophie Niemeyer Kipp. On February 19, 1914, she married William Lammers who died in 1960. Mrs. Lammers is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Mildred) Henschen of New Knoxville, and one son, the Reverend Richard Lammers a United Church of Christ Missionary to Marioba, Japan, who has been living in Troy for a year's leave and who is to return to Japan later this week. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Fred (Lena) Lutterbeck, RR1, New Knoxville, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lewis (Matilda) Kuck. St. Marys; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One son, Omer, died in World War II. Mrs. Lammers was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Ladies' Aid Adult Bible Class, and the Gold Star Mothers of Shelby County. The Reverend Kenneth H. Worthman will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church until the time of the services. Friends may call at the Yoder and Long Funeral Home in St. Marys after 4 p.m. Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Gold Star Mothers will hold a memorial service for Mrs. Lammers at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
