Additional: Cloyd Lawrence Sr., 66, of 607 W. North St., Coldwater, died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday in Coldwater Community Hospital, following a six-month illness. He was born Oct. 7, 1915 in Auglaize County, the son of Fred and Edith (Anderson) Lawrence. On March 26, 1944 in Columbia, S.C., he married Eunice Rease, who survives. Other survivors include four children, Mrs. William (Linda) Kan of Cleveland; Cloyd Jr. of Mercer, Ohio; Charles A. of Clifton, Ohio; Mrs. George (Patricia) Cannode of Rantoul, Ill., five grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Bowsher and Mrs. Clifford (Martha) Boogher both of Lima; and two brothers, Carl of Cridersville; and Leo of Huntington, Ind. Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church and the Coldwater American Legion. He was a retired maintenance worker for the Norfolk and Western Railroad. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the church with the Rev. Glen Perin officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina. Friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
