Additional: Edgerton—Alma Mary Katherine Lutterbein, 91, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 1986 at Parkview Nursing Home, Edgerton, where she had been a resident for the last three years. She was born Dec. 29, 1894 to John F. and Caroline E. (Settlage) Geiger in St. Marys. On Nov. 3, 1919 she married Benjamin Lutterbein, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lutterbein graduated from St. Marys High school in 1912 and attended Miami University, Oxford. For several years she taught Huenke School on the New Bremen Road and then she taught Latin and algebra in New Bremen High School. She was a resident of St. Marys and a member of Zion Lutheran Church until her marriage. Since then she has lived in Fort Recovery, Hicksville, and Edgerton. During World War II she taught English in Edgerton. She is survived by four children, Mrs. Paul (Marion) Rohrbaugh of Cleveland, John W. and Richard B. Lutterbein of Edgerton, and Edward Lutterbein of Rochester, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren, and one sister, Marguerite Geiger of St. Marys. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mrs. T.C. (Clara) Deweese, Edith, Gertrude and Kathryn Geiger. Services will be at Krill's Funeral Home in Edgerton on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Edgerton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
