Additional: Andrew B. Luthman, 77, 5688 Seigrist-Jutte Road, Celina, died 7:50 p.m. June 16, at his home. He was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Minster, to Julius and Dorothy (Schaaf) Luthman. On April 12, 1947, he married Luella Schwieterman, who survives. Other survivors are two sons and their wives, Charles and Paula of Celina, and Nicholas and Pam of Columbus; a son, Thomas of Cicero, Ind.; a daughter and her husband, Marilyn and Dan Taylor, Fort Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Shirley of Celina and Joanne of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister and her husband, Edna and Gilbert Muhlenkamp, Neptune; a sister, Mildred Niekamp, Coldwater; 9 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Deceased is a brother-in-law, Adrian Niekamp. He was retired from the former New Idea, Coldwater, and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, the St. Lawrence Men's Society, and a former member of the church choir. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during World War II, a member of Coldwater American Legion Post 470, Coldwater, Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) Post 5135, Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagles 3025, and was leader of the Andy Luthman Family Band. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the church, the Revs. David Hoying and Mark Hoying. Burial is at the church cemetery. Calling is from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
