Additional: Former Lima resident Ruth A. Kramer, 84, died at 7:50 p.m. July 5 at Roselawn Manor Nursing, Spencerville, where she was a resident. She was born Jan. 20, 1916, in Mercer County, to Irvin and Eva (Rhoades) Shinabery. On Feb. 27, 1938, she married Charles (Chuck) Kramer, who died March 17, 1993. Survivors are two daughters, Sue of Elida, and Maxine Barlage, St. Marys; a son, I. Scott of Lima; a brother, Kenneth Shinabery, Mercer; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, D.M. Shinabery. She was a retired telephone operator in Buckland for the Telephone Service Company of Wapakoneta. She was a member of Buckland United Church of Christ, Spencerville Chapter 130 Order of Eastern Star, and a former member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289 Auxiliary, St. Marys. She was a 1933 graduate of Mendon High School. Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. Carl W. Miller officiating. Burial is at Buckland Cemetery. Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a service conducted by the Order of Eastern Star at 4 p.m.
