Additional: Reinhart E. Katterhenry, 78, of 755 Hillcrest, St. Marys, died at 1 a.m. today at the Valley Nursing Home. He had been ill since April. Born June 4, 1904 in Washington Township, Auglaize County, he was the son of Henry and Anna (Schroer) Katterhenry. On Jan. 24, 1924, he married Ida DeLong who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Myers of Willoughby Hills, Ohio; Mrs. Billy (Carolyn) Slemmons of St. Marys; five grandchildren; and one sister, Edna Feil of St. Marys. One infant son, five brothers, Edward, Charles, Henry, Gustave and Edwin; and two sisters, Ida and Hilda preceded him in death. Mr. Katterhenry was a retired farmer and member of the Farm Bureau. He was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, where he served as deacon and trustee. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis E. Snell officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home. Preferred memorial is the church building fund.
