Additional: Sidney—Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church for Kermit T. Kuck, 76, 1800 Port Jefferson Road, who died Sunday evening, Oct. 1, 1989. He was born Oct. 22, 1912, in New Knoxville To W. Theodore and Lois (sic) E. (Eversman) Kuck. On Aug 20, 1938, he married Ella M. Hoge, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Joe A., Cortland, N.Y.; W. Theodore, New York, N.Y.; a sister, Lillian Foster, Raleigh, N.C. and a niece and nephew. Mr. Kuck retired Dec. 31, 1988, from Monarch Machine Tool Co. as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer after 53 years of varied service with the company. Under his leadership Monarch has grown from a single plant operation in Sidney to a $90 million a year business that also has manufaturing plants in Cortland, N.Y., New Bremen; and Keighley, England. Private funeral services will be held at Cromes Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. The preferred memorials are the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research, Rochester, Minn.,; the Dorothy Love Life Care fund and the church.
