Additional: J. Delmar Keysor, 86, 17674 Moulton-Ft. Amanda Road, Wapakoneta, died at 5:22 p.m. Monday March 26, 2001, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born Oct. 6, 1914, in Shelby County the son of John Wesley and Emma Jane (Jones) Keysor. On Aug 21, 1937, he married Frances C. Miller, who survives. Other survivors include six daughters, Betty (Keith) Ferrand of Cromwell, Ind., Eileen (Wayne) Schultz, Susan (Charles) Meier, Becky (Matt) Maxson and Laura (Mark) Greenbaum, all of Wapakoneta, and Cathy (Fiance Arlen "Jake" Fry) Link of St. Marys; a son, Ted Keysor of Spencerville, three sisters, Levon Morris and Bernie McDermitt, both of Wapakoneta; and Mary Jane Roode of New Knoxville, two brothers, Virgil "Jack" Keysor of St. Marys and Irvin Keysor of Buckland; 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Holtzapple, two brothers, Nelson Keysor and Richard Keysor; three sisters, Viola Webb, Doris Fisher and Velma Lindemuth; and four grandchildren, Sam Link, Julie Keysor, John Keysor and Todd Holtzapple. Mr. Keysor was a farmer and had been an agent for the National Farmer's Union Insurance Co. for many years. A 1932 graduate of the Blume High school in Wapakoneta, he was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Glynwood. He played semiprofessional baseball in the Sidney area. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and coon hunting and was well known for his mushroom hunting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Glynwood with the Rev. Oscar Seger officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Glynwood. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys. Memorials may be directed to the dialysis unit at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
