Additional: New Knoxville—Esther M. Kuck, 81, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys, following an extended illness. She was born Feb 22, 1902 in Auglaize County, the daughter of Ben and Mary Ann Aufderhaar Schroerlucke. On July 29, 1923, she married Edwin J. Kuck, who died May 24, 1980. Mrs. Kuck was a homemaker. She was a member of United Methodist Church here and the women's society of the church. She was a past organist of the church. Survivors included two brothers, W.O. Schroerlucke of Sidney and Oliver Schroerlucke of Maplewood, a stepbrother, Wilbur Poppe of Botkins; and a sister Bertha Goodwin of St. Marys. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vornholt Funeral Home here, Rev. James E. Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery here. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at ther funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
