Additional: Mary J. Jones, 65, 711 Greenbriar St., Cridersville, died at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She was born Dec. 29, 1935, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Winfield and Viola (George) Metzger. On July 9, 1955, she married James F. Jones Sr., who survives. Other survivors include three sons, James F. (Sandy) Jones Jr. of London, Rick J. (Barbara) Jones of McKinney, Texas, and John A. (Tammy) Jones of Cleveland; two daughters, Debora (John) Pseekos of Elida and Barbara (Randal) Pitson of Lima; three sisters, Carolyn (Bill) Shaner and Barbara (Lee) Winemiller, both of Wapakoneta, and Kathryn Ann (Alfred) Kinstle of Botkins; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in St. Marys, from where she retired in April 1997 after 30 years. A 1954 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Wapakoneta, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. William O'Connell officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, Wapakoneta Chapel, in Wapakoneta. A Christian Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
