The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Gierhart of this township, and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was united in marriage with John Hardin, October 7, 1896 and to this union one child, a daughter, Essie, was born. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, daughter, father and mother, two brothers, six sisters and many other relatives and friends who feel keenly the loss they have sustained. Mrs. Hardin was a member of the Disciple church and a faithful christian. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from Auglaize Chapel, northeast of this city and the remains were laid to rest in Fairmount cemetery.
