Additional: Mrs. Lenora S. Henkener, age 61, of New Knoxville, wife of Raymond W. Henkener, died Friday afternoon at 3:05 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for the last two weeks following a lengthy illness. Death was due to complications. Mrs. Henkener was born at Lock Two to Theodore L. and Emeline Schwetter Doenges. On September 17, 1917, she was married to Raymond W. Henkener who survives along with three children, Don and Roger L. of New Knoxville and Mrs. Howard WELLMAN, RR 1, New Knoxville, her father, Theodore L. Doenges, New Bremen, five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Edward H. (Bernice) Dilger, New Bremen. Mrs. Henkener was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ of New Knoxville and the Ladies Aid. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the church in New Knoxville, the Rev. F.J. Lowenbergh officiating. Burial will take place in the Pilger Ruhe cemetery. Friends may call at the Vornholt funeral home, New Bremen, anytime Sunday and until Monday at 10:30 a.m. The body will be moved then to the Church to be in state until the hour of the service.
