Additional: Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Henschen, 34, wife of Elmer Henschen, R.R. 3, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday of complications following childbirth at Joint Township District Memorial hospital. She had submitted to an emergency Caesarean section for delivery of her stillborn son Tuesday morning. Mrs. Henschen was born December 17, 1918, in Van Buren Township and was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church at New Knoxville. Left to mourn her death are her husband Elmer, to whom she was married March 13, 1939, three children, Billy, Ann and Connie all at home; her parents, Lawrence and Lydia Meckstroth Eschmeyer, Botkins, R.1; and two brothers, Zelotes of Route 3, St. Marys and Eldred Eschmeyer of Route 1, Botkins. There are many friends who join with the family in mourning the sudden death of Mrs. Henschen. The last rites will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the late residence at 2 p.m. at the New Knoxville E&R church with Dr. D.A. Bode in charge. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe cemetery in New Knoxville. The body will be removed from Vornholt's funeral home, New Bremen to the late residence Thursday morning where friends may call anytime after noon until the services Friday.
