Additional: Lucille M. Green, 78, formerly of 6953 Ohio 219, Celina, died at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998 at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima. She was born Feb. 22, 1920 in Marion, Indiana to Samuel E. and Sarah Louise (Miller) Berry. She had been married to Paul E. Franks and Norman Green, who are both deceased. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Virginia Franks of New Knoxville, four granddaughters, Barbara Franks of Wapakoneta, Tammy Clark of New Knoxville, Leslie Franks of Wapakoneta and Rebecca ROSTORFER, also of Wapakoneta; one grandson, George Franks of Ft. Benning, Georgia; 17 great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Berry of Merryville, Ind., Gerald Berry of Mendon, Harold Berry of Huntington, Ind., and Charles Berry, also of Huntington, Ind.; four sisters, Waneta Slagle of Andrews, Ind., Emma Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Vaughn (Iris) Whitesell of Huntington, Ind., and Martha Hartwig, also of Huntington, Ind. She was preceded in death by two sons, Lowell K. Franks and Larry Franks, as well as three sisters, Florence Harris, Phyllis Berry and Elizabeth Berry. Mrs. Green was a retired bartender at the former Stardust Night Club near Wapakoneta and she also groomed race horses at tracks all across the United States. She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998 at Long & Folk Funeral Home in St.Marys with the Rev. David L. Woodyard and the Rev. Marion L. Hanover officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 15, 1998 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
