She was born March 30, 1923, in Noble Township, Auglaize County, to Elvin and Leah (Huber) Schroer. On May 20, 1945, she married Gene Frank and he survives. Also surviving are a son and his wife, Mike and Judy of St. Marys; two daughters and their husbands, Anita and Bus Melby, Toledo, and Terrie and Russ Burd, Dayton; a sister and her husband, Shirley and Larry Kellermeyer, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Schroer, St. Marys; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Gene Schroer. She was a homemaker and a 1941 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, St. Marys, where she had served on the Consistory, taught Sunday School, served as a deacon and was a member of the church circle. She was also a former 4-H adviser. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Pat Minnick officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling at Miller Funeral Home Grand Lake Chapel, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Contributions can be made to the church endowment fund.
