Additional: New Bremen resident Viola L. Eversman, 85 of Route 1, died at 1:53 p.m. Friday, October 26, 1990, in the Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys. She was born December 12, 1904, in St. Marys Township, the daughter of Louis and Ann (Heitman) Schierholt. On December 12, 1925, she married Edward F. Eversman, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Adrian Eversman of Route 1, New Bremen; five grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and one brother, Lionel Schierholt of Lyman, S.C. One son Edward, preceded her in death. A homemaker, Mrs. Eversman was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 323 and a life member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Miller Funeral Home St. Marys, with Rev. John Tostrick officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the Miller Funeral Home.
