Additional: Mrs. Selma W. Eversman, age 72, 100 East Spring St., New Knoxville, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at Joint Township Memorial hospital where she had been under treatment for a week for complications. She had been ill two weeks. Mrs. Eversman had not been so well for the last few years but had continued active. Mrs. Eversman was born May 6, 1893, in New Knoxville, the daughter of Herman and Amalia Lutterbein Kuhlman. On Dec. 26, 1916, she was married to Julius Eversman who preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1947. One son died in infancy. Mrs. Eversman, known to many friends as Sally, is survived by five sisters, and three brothers, Mrs. Alvina Holl, New Knoxville, Mrs. H.D. (Meta) Schoppman, New Haven, Ind., Mrs. Clara Headapohl, Mrs. William (Arminta) Thieman, LeRoy Kuhlman, New Knoxville, Mrs. Oliver (Mildred) Vordermark, R.R. 1, New Knoxville, Lawrence Kuhlman, New Knoxville, and Norman Kuhlman, St. Marys. Two brothers, Henry and Reinhard and a sister, Mrs. Ida Wellman are deceased. Mrs. Eversman was a member of the First United Church of Christ, the Women's Guild and Hospital Guild of the Church. She was a charter member of the New Knoxville Garden club and had been acitve in its projects. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Knoxville church with the Rev. Kenneth H. Worthman officiating. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe cemetery. New Knoxville. Friends may call at the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Bremen, after 12 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the body will be removed to the church.
