Additional: Mrs. Matilda Louise Eversman, age 81, 107 West South Street, New Knoxville, died at 8:05 p.m. Friday at Joint Township Memorial Hospital where she was under treatment for a complication of diseases. She had been an invalid 16 years during which she continued cheerful and interested in her family and friends. Mrs. Eversman was born August 12, 1879 in New Knoxville, the daughter of the late Adolph and Elizabeth Fenneman Eschmeyer. On May 12, 1902 she was married to Ernst Eversman who preceded her in death on February 22, 1941. Surviving her are four children, Oliver, New Knoxville, Carl, Toledo, Mrs. H. W. (Dorothy) Zuege, New Knoxville, and Mrs. John (Louise) Siehl, Park Hills, Ky. three grandchildren and one great grandchild in addition to many more distant relatives and friends. A sister, Mrs. Henry Roediger is deceased. She was a member of the First E & R United Church of Christ, the German Bible Class and the Ladies Aid. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Bremen, with the Rev. F.J. Lowenbergh officiating. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday and until the hour of the services Monday.
