Additional: Lydia Eversman, 85, 105 W. Bremen St., New Knoxville, died Tuesday, June 17, at 4:15 p.m. in Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys. Born Feb. 7, 1890, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of Carl and Fredericka (Ferlemen) Warner. On April 27, 1909, she married Herman E. Eversman, who preceded her in death in 1940. Surviving are two sons, Robert Eversman, Lima, and Myron Eversman, New Knoxville; two daughters, Mrs. James (Agnes) Park, Tiffin, and Mrs. Norman (Larue) Schrolucke, R.R2, St. Marys; one brother, Louis Warner, New Bremen; one sister Mrs. Caroline Meckstroth, New Knoxville; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A daughter and son, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, and a member of the First United Church of Christ Women's Guild, and New Knoxville Senior Citizens. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, at the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, with the Reverend Gary Kwiatek officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Knoxville, after 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, until 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the time of the services.
