Additional: Mrs. Richard Elliot, age 70, of Defiance street, Wapakoneta, formerly of St. Marys, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita's hospital, Lima where she had been under treatment two weeks. She suffered a stroke three weeks age and had been ill since then. Mrs. Elliott was the former Adella Fisher. She was born July 29, 1896 in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Charles and Mollie Lucas Fisher. On Nov. 5, 1919, she was married to Richard Elliott who is presently in the intensive care ward of St. Rita's hospital, Lima for treatment of a heart attack. Surviving Mrs. Elliott in addition to her husband are seven children, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Schaub, R.R.4, Wapakoneta, James, 3076 Kenora Circle, Dayton, John R., 2701 Franklin, Buena Park, Calif., Mrs. George (Patricia) Neargardner, St. Marys, E. William, 945 Garbry Road, Piqua, Deane M. and F. Joseph Elliott, both of Wapakoneta; 28 grandchildren, two great grandchildren. One son, one daughter and two brothers are deceased. Mrs. Elliott resided here eight years while Mr. Elliott was employed here with the City Water Department. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic church, Wapakoneta, the Sodality and Christian Mothers and was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary. Funeral serves will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Herbert Eilerman offering the requiem high mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Heinl and Son Funeral home, Wapakoneta, from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Rosary devotions will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
