She was born Sept 5, 1923, at Ansonia, the daughter of Raymond and Goldie (Westfall) Holdeman. She married Ernest Decker, who died Jan. 4, 2001. Survivors include three sons Jack (Ginger) Figel of St. Marys, James Harter of Van Wert and Fred Harter of Marion; a sister, Betty Boggs of Sebring, Fla.; two brothers, Marvin Holdeman and Don Holdeman, both of Greenville; four granchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene, Emerson and Willis Holdeman; and two sisters, Dorothy and Ruby Holdeman. Mrs. Decker was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, gardening, animals and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of American Legion 323 Auxiliary. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. John Nunnally officiating. Private graveside committal will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart and Lung Association.
