Additional: Harold A. Dorsten, 83, Ohio 119, Minster, died at 6 p.m. March 11 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born June 10, 1917, in St. Rose, to Albert and Regina (Rentz) Dorsten. On May 10, 1941, he married Vera J. Woehrmyer, who survives. Other survivors are a son and his wife, Ronald and Marilyn of Minster; a brother and his wife, Floyd and Elaine of Michigan; three sisters and their husbands, Marjorie and Edward O'Toole, and Maryann and Joseph Fullenkamp, all of Dayton, and Joan and Paul Kussman, Cincinnati; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Deceased are an infant daughter, Shirley Ann, an infant son, Douglas L., and three sisters. He was founder and owner of H.A. Dorsten, Inc. of Minster, a founder and past board member of Arrowhead Park Golf Course, Minster, provided resources and helped construct Minster Memorial Field, sponsored attractions at Minster Oktoberfest, formerly served on the board of trustees of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, and was nominated 1997 Minster Civic Association Citizen of the year. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Precious Blood Inca Ball Committee, Knights of Columbus, all of Minster, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Celina, and Minster Civic Association. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. David Heinl officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Contributions can be made to Minster-Area Life Squad.
