Additional: Emma E Dohse, 83, formerly of 303 W. North Street, St. Marys, died at 11:05 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 1986 at Valley Nursing Home, where she had resided for two years. She was born Jan. 8, 1903 in Mercer County to William C and Anna L (Kellermeyer) Burkhart. On Jan 10, 1922 she married Arty Wilkens, who died in 1964. On Nov 14, 1970, she married Irwin Dohse, who died in 1978. Mrs. Dohse had been employed at the St. Marys Woolen Mill and Joyce's Bakery. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church , the Zion Lutheran Church Women, the Dorcas Society, and the American Legion Auxillary. She is survived by two children, Mrs. Eugene (Onnolee) Brodbeck of St. Marys, and Kenneth D. Wilkens of New Bremen, five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Walter (Edith) Kettler of Celina. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl, Irben, Ernest, and an infant brother; and one sister, Louise Hainline. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theodore Stellhorn and Intern Mark Osterhaut officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
