Additional: Ruth Boyce, 85, 308 N. Chestnut St., St. Marys, died at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, in the emergency room of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. She was born Aug. 6, 1915, in Barnesville, to Harry Cleveland and Rena Gertrude (Osler) Gleaves. On Sept. 25, 1938, she married Arthur Leland Boyce, who died Jan. 21, 1995. Survivors include three daughters, Gerry Larkin, Rena Jo (Clifford) Grant and Nikki (Larry) Rehn, all of St. Marys; one son and caregiver, Lee Boyce of St. Marys; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister Geraldine (Raymond) Faith of New Albany, Ind. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry C. Gleaves Jr. and William Herbert Gleaves; one sister, Leah Elizabeth Gleaves and one granddaughter, Lisa Grant Powell. Mrs. Boyce was a homemaker and checker at Krogers in St. Marys. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Marys and the St. Marys Senior Citizens. She was a 1933 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Keith Kivlin officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in the St. Marys Chapel.
