Additional: Franklin W. Althoff, 68, 202 Concord Ave., died 5:16 p.m. Friday in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. Born June 13, 1914, in St. Marys, he was the son of Carl and Emma (Kranz) Althoff. Survivors include two sisters, Marcella Althoff of Cincinnati and Mrs. Edward (Emma Lou) Bernard of St. Henry; and one brother, Eugene Althoff of West Carrollton. A sister Lillian Althoff and a brother, Ferd Althoff preceded him in death. Mr. Althoff was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in 1977 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, in Miller Funeral home. The Rev. Wayne F. Hoedt will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. tonight and Sunday until the time of service at the funeral home.
