Information: Conrad Stroh, aged 75 years well known East
Pearl Street resident, died at his home Sunday morning from
paralysis by which he had been stricken several days ago. Mr.
Stroh was born in Washington township, October 31, 1854, a
son of John Stroh and Mrs. Eliza Miller Stroh, both of whom
were born in Germany. He resided on a farm near New Knoxville
for many years but retired 19 years ago and removed to his
city where he lived a quiet life. Surviving are the widow,
Mrs. Anna Stroh and two sons and two daughters. The latter
are: Mrs. W.H. SHANNON, this city; Fred Stroh, residing on a
farm near St. Marys; Carl Stroh of St. Marys and Mrs. Ida E.
MARTIN of Ypsilanti, Michigan. There are also eleven
grandchildren and one brother and three sisters, George
Stroh, Mrs. Caroline MENGES and Mrs. Louis SCHNEIDER of this
city and Mrs. John THIELK, St. Marys. He was a member of St.
Paul's Evangelical church. The remains were taken this
afternoon to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon, 602 1/2 East
Pearl street, where a short funeral service will be held at
1:30 Tuesday afternoon, followed by services at St. Paul's
church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. R.J. Loew will officiate and
the burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.

Additional Information: Carl Schrolucke, 83, 300 W. Bremen
St., New Knoxville, died at 6:46 p.m. Dec. 11 at Joint
Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born
March 21, 1916, in Auglaize County to William and Sophia
(Schroer) Schrolucke. On Nov. 6, 1941, he married Wilhelmina
"Minnie" Kuck, who died Nov. 14, 1994. Survivors
are a daughter and her husband, Lori and David FOSTER, Mount
Prospect, Ill., and two daughters, Carol of Mount Prospect
and Jean of Findley; a son, Tedd of St. Marys; a sister,
Alice STEINEBRUGGE, Cridersville,; and three granddaughters.
Deceased are three sisters, Irma WEHMEYER, Olga PIEHL and
Hulda SCHROER, and four brothers Harry, Florenz, Arnold and
Albert. He was retired after working as a kiln and boiler
operator at Hoge Lumber Co,. New Knoxville, was a former New
Knoxville police chief and was a U.S. Army veteran of World
War II. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ
and American Legion Post 444, both of New Knoxville. Services
are at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. David Hunt
officiating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New
Knoxville. Calling is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at
Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville. Contributions
can be made to the church radio broadcast fund or the
American Heart Association.

p.m. Jan. 1, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born
Dec. 30, 1916, in Terra Haute, Ind., to Frank A. and Bettie
(South) Gehman. On June 7, 1940, she married Norman A.
Braunschweiger, who died Jan. 18, 1975. Surviviors are a son
and his wife, Mark A. and Karen of Kettering, a sister-in-law
and her husband, Dorothy and Thomas BILYEU, Terre Haute,
Ind.; and a granddaughter. Deceased is a brother-in-law,
Carl. She was a homemaker and was retired after working as a
bookkeeper at St. Marys Trucking Co. She was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church, Business and Professional Women's
Association, Mothers' Study Club and Joint Township Hospital
Guild 14, all of St. Marys. Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday
at the church, the Rev. Joachim K. Wilck officiating. Burial
is at Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute. Calling is at 5-8

Additional Information: New Knoxville-Annabelle Hoge, 75,
formerly of Bay Road, died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at 3:50
a.m. at Ottobein St. Marys. She was born May 16, 1924, in
Buckland, daughter of Earl and Edna (Graessle) Ramga. On June
3, 1944, she was married to Kermit Hoge. He died Sept. 22,
1961. She is survived by a daughter, MMrs. Stanley (Carol)
PAUL of Galloway, and a son, Dennis of Wapakoneta; four
granddaughters; six sisters, Mrs. Addis (Mary) KATTERHEINRICH
of New Knoxville, Virginia HARDESTY of Wapakoneta, Imogene
ROSER of Lima, Alice TRUESDALE of Elida, Marlene ELLIOT of
Wapakoneta, and Christine STEINKE of Wapakoneta; three
brothers, Don Ramga, Robert Ramga and Charles Ramga, all of
Wapakoneta. Three brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Hoge
was a 1943 graduate of Buckland High school and retired as a
certified egg inspector for Morrisey and Sons Eggs in
Minster. She was a member of the First United Church of
Christ in New Knoxville, and the Women's Guild of the church;
and a member of the Hospital Auxiliary at St. Marys Joint
Township District Memorial Hospital. She had been an adviser
40 years for the Cheery Sunbeams 4-H Club. Services will be
held Monday at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. David Hunt
officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New
Knoxville. Friends may call at the Vornholt-Miller Funneral
Home in New Knoxville, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Radio Broadcast Fund of the

Additional Information: New Knoxville- Guy H. Clark Jr. 76,
died at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in LIma Memorial
Hospital following an extended illness. He was born May 5,
1923, at Danville, Ill., to Guy H. Clark and Laura Jane Laker
Clark. They are deceased. He married Shirley Joan Bybee on
July 16, 1950. She survives. Mr. Clark grew up in Valdosta,
Ga. He was a retired employee of Hoge Lumber Co., at New
Knoxville and was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in
the Pacific. Other survivors include four sons, Guy W. Clark
of Columbus, Ohio, John Walter (Willene) Clark of Lake Park,
Fla., David Joe Clark of New Knoxville and Tracy Lee (Karen)
Clark of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Gyla Joan (Clay)
JONES of Wapakoneta and Ellen Marie (Dave) CARSCADDEN of
Kapaa, Hawaii; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
one sister, Marianna Clark of Valdosta; and one daughter-in-
law, Rayna Clark of Pittsburgh, Pa. He was preceded in death
by four grandchildren; a brother Monty Clark; a sister,
Dorothy EVERETTS; and a son, Stephen Clark. A memorial
service will be held at a later date. There will be no
visitation. Mr. Clark's body has been donated to Ohio State
University College of Medicine at Columbus. Siferd Funeral
Homes at Lima is handling arrangements. Memorial
contributions may be made to the family.

Edward Rohrbaugh, 84, Dearbaugh Avenue, died Saturday, Sept.
25, 1999, at 5:50 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born
Oct. 17, 1914, in Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, son of
Edward W. and Anna (Hummel) Rohrbaugh. On June 19, 1946, he
married the former Mary Caroline Arnett. She survives with
two sons, Edward James of Wapakoneta, and David James of
Lima; two grandsons; a brother, John Malcolm of Canton; and a
sister, Janis Rohrbaugh of Wapakoneta. A sister preceded him
in death. Mr. Rohrbaugh was a farmer and worked 45 years as a
livestock buyer with Producers Stock Yards in Wapakoneta. He
was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New
Knoxville, where he had been a Sunday School teacher and
deacon. He attended Keller Grade School on Cemetery Road and
graduated in 1932 from Blume High School in Wapakoneta. He
was an avid hunter. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.
at the church with the Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial
will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call
at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from
1 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to

McDermott, 85, 11700 Kingfisher Lane, St. Marys, died at 3:05
a.m. Sept. 9 at Otterbein-St. Marys Living Facility. She was
born Aug 14, 1915, in New Vienna, to Lawrence and Bess
(Good) Wright. On June 17, 1939, she married Harold C.
McDermott, who survives. Other survivors are two sons and
their wives, Roger and Patricia of Celina, and Greg and
Jacqueline of Fairlawn; a daughter and her husband, Kathy and
Scott ADIE, Cuyahoga Falls; a daughter-in-law, Suzanne TAYLOR
McDermott, Longwood, Fla; and eight grandchildren. Deceased
are a son, Gordon, and two sisters, Eleanor MOFFIT and
Marjorie TRICKLER. She was a registered nurse for hospitals
in the Cincinnati area and at Wilson Memorial Hospital in
Sidney. She volunteered her time for community organizations
and was co-founder of the Anchor Club of Westerville. She
received the Governor's Award for her work in establishing
services for the elderly, and was inducted in 1983 into the
State of Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. she was a member
of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina, and was a
graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati.
Services are 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Otterbein Campus
Center, St. Marys, the Rev. R. Robert Metheny officiating.
Burial is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.

Aug. 31, 1907, near St. Marys to Frank and Elizabeth
(Tinnerman) Yahl. On April 14, 1930, she married Robert C.
Smith who died Feb. 9, 1998. Survivors include a sister-in-
law and her husband, Margaret and Franklin Yahl of St. Marys.
Deceased are four sisters, Margaret NOCKENGOST, Dr. Elizabeth
KUFFNER, Ruth PHILLIPS, and Barbara HALE, and two brothers,
Franklin and Robert Yahl. She was formerly employed in the
accounting departments of several automobile agencies in the
Indianopolis, Ind. area and assistered her husband in a
restaurant business. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion
Lutheran Church, St. Marys, the Rev. Joachim Wilck
officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

"Fritz" Drury, 79, 11751 Bay Road, Wapakoneta, died
at 12:11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at Joint Township
District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born July 14,
1921, in Wapakoneta, the son of Wiliam L. and Nellie L.
(Sheipline) Drury. On April 12, 1945, he married Dolly
Tabler, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters,
Judy (Harry) HAGGARD of Lima and Joyce (Jim) MILLER of
Wapakoneta; a sister, Virginia DARDIO of Wapakoneta; five
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews. Mr. Drury was a retired truck driver, having
worked for 28 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order
of Eagles 767 in St. Marys and was a retired member of
Teamster Union 654 in Dayton. Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. Monday at Long & Folk Funeral Home in Wapakoneta
with the Rev. Elaine Mikesell officiating. Cremation will
follow with burial of the cremains in St. Joseph Cemetery at

formerly of 6020 Kettler Road, New Bremen, died at 5:10 a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001 at Otterbein-St. Marys Retirement
Community in St. Marys. She was born Nov. 23, 1917, in New
Bremen, the daughter of Elmer and Hazel (Rabe) Kellermeyer.
She married Alvin Dammeyer, who died Nov. 21, 1980. She is
survived by good friends Marvin and Jeannette MOELLER of New
Bremen. A homemaker, Mrs. Dammeyer was a member of St. Paul
United Church of Christ in New Bremen. She was a member of
the New Bremen Senior Citizens, of which she was past
presdident, the American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary, and the
Woodman Circle of New Bremen. Funeral services will be at 10
a.m. Tuesday at the Gilberg Funeral Home in New Bremen with
the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will follow at
the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen. Friends may

"Liz" Kaufman, 81, Wapakoneta Manor, died at 5:35
p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at the nursing home. She was
born Oct. 6, 1919, in Lima, the daughter of Currie M. and
Marie L. (Price) Harris. On Nov. 7, 1987, she married Dale W.
Kaufman, who preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include
a daughter, Elizabeth A. (Joseph) HARBERT of Waynesfield;
five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a brother, Dwight A. Harris Sr. and a
sister, Chloe PAGE. Mrs. Kaufman was a sales person at
Minnich's Market in Waynesfield and at Woolworth in Lima. She
was a member of Eagles Lodge 370 and a Past Madam president
of the auxiliary. She was a member of the Orioles in Lima.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chiles &
Sons-Lamen Funeral Home, Lewis Chapel, in Lima with the Rev.
Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch
Cemetery in Waynesfield. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.

J. Kellermeyer, 73, 9059 Botkins Angle Rd., died at 11:40
a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 1999, at his home following a lengthy
illness. He was born Oct. 7, 1926 in German township to
Herbert Sr. and Martha Schaeffer Kellermeyer. On Nov. 20,
1954, he married Lois Dickman and she survives at home. He is
also survived by a son, Larry and Joyce Kellermeyer of New
Knoxville; a daughter Judy and Michael DAMMEYER of New
Bremen; a sister Ahleen JESIONOWSKI of Phoenix, Ariz.;
brothers, Vernon of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, and Paul of Elgin,
Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Ann Kellermeyer of Toledo and Leota
Kellermeyer of New Bremen; parents-in-law, Howard and Ruth
Dickman of New Bremen and Dorothy and Everett KOENIG of
Venodocia; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by two brothers, Merrill and Herbert. Mr. Kellermeyer was a
member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen.
He retired in 1991 from Copeland in Sidney after 27 years of
service. He served in the Army i 1945 and 1946 serving one
year in Europe. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at the church with the Rev. John W. Tostrick
officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at
Gilbert Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at
the church on Thursday. Burial will follow in the German

City-Susan Kay Ruwoldt, 48, of 11512 Snyder Rd., Ohio City,
died unexpectedly of a brief illness at 11:31 p.m. Jan. 20 at
Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Ind. She was born Sept. 28,
1951 in St. Marys to Thomas A. and Erma J. (Irish)
Langenkamp, and her mother survives. On Dec. 28, 1985, she
married Jerry L. Ruwoldt, who survives at the same address.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Erma (and Earl)
SUCHLAND of St. Marys; her mother-in-law, Ruth Ruwoldt of
Montezuma; two sons, Jessie MARLOW and Tony HATFIELD, both of
Ohio City; three stepsons, Jeremy Ruwoldt of Mendon, Joey
Ruwoldt of Delphos and Mike YOUNG of Ohio City; three
stepdaughters, Katie WILSON, Karen MONFORT and Kris SHRIMP,
all of Spencerville, two sisters, and a brother-in-law, Tim
(and Sheilah) Langenkamp of Greenville and Ted (and Shelly)
Langenkamp of Cridersville; 18 grandchildren and a number of
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father
and one brother, Thomas A. Langenkamp Jr. A graduate of St.
Marys Memorial High School and Lima Technical College, Mrs.
Ruwoldt was a partner in Ohio City Auto, J&S Books &
Antiques and Ruwoldt Kennels, all located in Ohio City. She
previously owned the Bargain Warehouse in Van Wert. Services
will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Long & Folk Funeral Home in
St. Marys, with the Rev. Mary K. Brown officiating. Burial
will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Friends may

Fledderjohann D.D., age 89, 312 East Spring Street, New
Knoxville, retired minister of the United Church of Christ,
died suddenly at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of his son-
in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George FERNER, Cuyohoga
Falls, with whom he had lived for the last nine months. He
was ordained to the ministry of the United Church of Christ
(then the Reformed church) 64 years ago, in 1908, at New
Knoxville. Dr. Fledderjohann had served pastorates in
Louisville, Ky, New Philadelphia, O., Waukon, Ia., Chicago,
Ill., and Bucyrus, O., before joining the faculty of Mission
House Seminary at Sheboygan, Wis. In 1953 he retired and
returned to his home town o of New Knoxville to make his home
there. During his retirement years he frequently served as
guest minister in the churches of the area. He received his
early education in the New Knoxville public school, graduated
from the academy at Mission House and from Ohio State
University. He entered McCormick Theological Seminary,
Chicago, where he graduated in 1908 and shortly therafter was
ordained to the minstry. Later he continued his studies at
Columbia University, New York and the University of Chicago.
He received his honorary doctorate degree from Heidelberg
College, Tiffin. Dr. Fledderjohann was born in New Knoxville
on July 7, 1882, the son of William H. and Elizabeth Niemeyer
Fledderjohann. On June 21, 1911 he married Katie Strickland
who preceded him in death on April 2, 1962. Surviving him are
two daughters, Mrs. George (Esther) Ferner, 2124 15th Street,
Cuyahoga Falls, Mrs. Lad (Julia) ZACK, of Berwyn, Ill., one
son, Donald Fledderjohann of Pittsburgh, Pa., five
grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one sister Mrs. Emil
(Emily) BUEHRER, of Green Bay, Wis. He was preceded in death
by three brothers, William, Louis and Edwin and by two
sisters, Lena and Alvina. He was a member of the First United
Church of Christ at New Knoxville. Funeral services for Dr.
Fledderjohann will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First
United Church of Christ in New Knoxville with the Rev.
Kenneth H. Worthman officiating. Burial will take place in
Pilger Ruhe cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call at the
Yoder-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday. The body will lie in state at the New Knoxville
church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the services.

Mrs. Wilhelmina Wierwille, New Knoxville, widow of Benjamin
H. Wierwille, died Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Valley Nursing
Home, where she had been a patient for two years and three
months. Death was caused by a heart attack. She was 87 years
Old. Born October 12, 1884, in Shelby County, she was the
daughter of F.H. and Sophia Meckstroth Fledderjohn. On May
1, 1905, she was married to Benjamin H. Wierwille, who died
in 1963. Left to mourn her death are four children, Mrs. Karl
(Velma) KOEPKE, Canton, Mrs. Myron (Luella) EVERSMAN, New
Knoxville, the Rev. Nathan Wierwille, Cincinnati, and the
Rev. Linus Wierwille, New Glarus, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs.
Wesley (Elizabeth) LAMMERS, New Knoxville; two brothers,
Herman Fledderjohn, Toledo; and Reinhart Fledderjohn,
Scottsdale, Arizona; and eight grandchildren. Twin sons died
in infancy. Also preceding her in death were four sisters,
Mrs. Herman (Emma) KUCK, Mrs. Lewis (Caroline) Eversman, Mrs.
William (Lydia) RODEHEFFER, and Mrs. Fred (Matilda) Lammers;
and two brothers, Henry and Silas Fledderjohn. Mrs. Wierwille
was a member of the First United Church of Christ at New
Knoxville, the Ladies Aid Society, the Women's Guild, and the
Bible Class. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 4, at 2
p.m. at the church with the Rev. Kenneth H. Worthman in
charge. Interment will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. Friends
may call at the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Knoxville from 6
to 9 p.m. today and until noon Sunday, after which the body
will be taken to the church to lie in state until the hour of

East Spring Street, was fatally stricken with a heart attack
last evening as he was mowing the grass at his home. The city
emergency ambulance was called. He was pronounced dead by the
family physician at 5:58 p.m. Mr. Stienecker had been in
failing health for two years. He was born Oct. 27, 1899, in
New Knoxville, the son of Herman and Amelia Bergman
Stienecker. On Jan. 20, 1921, he married Lanora Dohse with
whom he had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last
year. In addition to his wife, a licensed practical nurse who
had recently retired from service at Joint Township Memorial
Hospital, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Virgil Stienecker, of St. Marys, three
grandchildren, Kathy, Ron and Noreen Stienecker, all of St.
Marys, two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Capo (Louella)
RULEY, Minster, Mrs. Arthur (Nudy) BARTH, New Bremen, Willard
H. and Glendo E. Stienecker, both of St. Marys, and a cousin,
Mrs. Frank (Leota) CRAFT, of Shelby, O., who formerly had
made her home with them. There are many friends. Two
daughters, Wilda Stienecker and Mrs. Betty MURR are deceased.
Two sisters are also deceased. Mr. Stienecker had been
employed for 37 years in delivering milk for the White
Mountain Creamery, Meadow Gold and then Beatrice Foods. Later
he worked for some years, previously to his retirement two
years ago, as custodian at the Home Banking Company. He was a
lover of flowers and took great pride in the flower garden
at his home, spending many hours in it. He was an avid
fisherman at Lake St. Marys, widely known among sportsmen for
his catches of bass and crappies. Mr. Stienecker was a member
of Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 2
p.m. Sunday at the Yoder-Long and Folk Funeral Home with the
Rev. Theodore T. Stellhorn III officiating. Burial will take
place in Elm Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
home from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The family requests that
those wishing to give memorial gifts give them to the Zion
Lutheran Church Building Fund.

July 10, 1999, at his residence. He was born April 19, 1922,

July 3, 1942, he married Virginia M. Johnson. She died in
1981. He later married Dorothy Byrnes. She is also deceased.

Mrs. Zwiebel was born July 29, 1893, near DeGraff, O., the
daughter of James and Hettie Moore Huston. She was married
Nov. 10, 1923, to Herman Zwiebel with whom she would have
observed her 49th wedding anniversary Friday. Surviving her
are her husband, four children, Paul E., R.R.2, Wapakoneta,

She had served for some years as a Gray Lady at Joint

automobile salesman, formerly employed at Meckstroth Motor
Sales. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ,
New Knoxville. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday
at the church with Rev. J.M. Michael, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery.

Timmy Daum, and a step-brother, Paul MYERS. Mr. Daum was a

Ruth Presar, 82, Barbara Lane, Wapakoneta, died at 9:05 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 19, 1997, at her daughter's residence in
Napoleon. She was born March 13, 1915 in Wapakoneta, daughter
of Bert and O'Dessa (DeLong) Stinebaugh. On May 9, 1935, she
married Harold Presar, and he died Oct. 26, 1975. She and
Harold lived on the family farm located on Canning Factory
Road for over 40 years. She is survived by a son and
daughter-in-law, Bert and Sally Presar, Wapakoneta, a
daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael WESTBAY, Napoleon,
five grandchildren, Tim Presar, Findley, Matt Presar,
Wapakoneta, Kathy (Presar) STROKA, Delaware; Chris WESTBAY,
Goshen, Ohio, Jennifer (Westbay) STACHLER, Cygnet; four
great-grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn STULTZ and
Donna Jean DISNEY. A homemaker, Mrs. Presar had worked as a
sales clerk with several businesses in Wapakoneta. She was a
member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta,
and was active with it's Circle Three and the Women's Guild.
She had bowled in several leagues at the former Wapakoneta
Rec. and with the Senior Citizens at Astro Lanes, Wapakoneta.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul
United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Dr. John Manzo
officiating. Burial is to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

St. Marys, died at 9:55 a.m. Saturday in Celina Manor Nursing
Home after an extended illness. Born Aug. 16, 1905 in
Cincinnati, he was the son of William and Katherine (Distler)
Eschenbrenner. On May 29, 1932, he married Helen Marie
Suhlman who died in 1940. On March 17, 1944, he married Helen
Murray who survives. Other survivors include a son, William

(Doris) GLASS of Celina; Mrs. Ronald (Margaret) HUNTER of St.

Word was received in the city announcing the death at
Ashville, North Carolina, on July 29, of William H. Kogge,
son of Henry Kogge of near Moulton, and former resident of
this county. The funeral took place at Ashville, on Monday
afternoon, July 31, 1922. Mr. Kogge was born near Moulton,
this county and passed away at the age of 34 years, 11 months
and 18 days. He resided at Moulton until about seven years
ago when he moved to Florida, where he engaged in business
and was quite successful. He moved to Ashville, October 24,
1921 on account of ill health and was residing there with his
family when the final summons came. He had been a sufferer
from tuberculosis for years. Mr. Kogge was united in marriage
March 29, 1906 to Sarah Eversman, daughter of Mrs. H.H.
Eversman of New Knoxville. To this union four children were
born, one of whom a daughter, preceded her father in death.
Those living are his wife and three sons, Clifford, Milton
and Victor. He is also survived by two brothers and two
sisters, besides numerous other relatives.

Church of Christ in New Knoxville. He was a former resident
of San Antonio and a member of the Methodist Church. He was
also a 32nd degree Mason, Shriner and member of the Order of
Hermann Sons. Services were held Monday in Mission Burial
Park with the Rev. Windel Bell officiating. Arrangements were
handled by the Mission Park Funeral Chapels, 1700 SE Military
Dr., San Antonio, Tex.

Additional Information: William C. Wurster, 69, of 6271/2 N.
Second St., Lompoc, Calif, a former St. Marys resident, died
Saturday in a nursing home in Santa Barbara. He was born Nov.
23, 1912, in St. Marys, the son of James and Hattie (Archer)
Wurster. On Jan 9, 1937, he married Leona Niekamp, who
survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jerry
(Nancy) HOGAN of Lompoc; one son, Steve Wurster of Santa
Barbara; four grandchildren; a brother, James Wurster of St.
Marys; two sisters, Mrs. Orlando (Ruby) SULLIVAN and
Clarabelle Wurster, both of St. Marys. A son, Robert; one
daughter, Rosemary; two brothers, Ernest and Virgil, and one
sister Estelle, preceded him in death. Mr. Wurster was a
retired construction worker in Lompoc. He was the first
president of the United Auto Workers Local 200 here. A
memorial service will be held today in Lompoc. Cremation will
follow the service. Starbuck Lind Mortuary, 100 North A. St.,
Lompoc is in charge of arrangements.

resident and St. Marys native died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in
Valley Nursing Home, where she had resided since November
1981. Born June 15, 1888 in St. Marys, she was the daughter
of Herman and Anna (Meyer) Kellermeyer. Survivors include a
sister, Caroline FINKE and a brother, Arthur Kellermeyer,
both of St. Marys. Two sisters, Minnie MOTTWEILER and Hilda
Kellermeyer; and three brothers, Herbert, Elvin and Herman
preceded her in death. She was a retired employee of the
Columbus Pharmacy and was a member of the First English
Luthern Church in Columbus. Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Michelle Auger
officiating. Burial will be at German Protestant Cemetery,
New Bremen. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home. Preferred memorial is the cancer or heart fund.

Additional Information: Melvin Price Sprinkel, 66, of
Sarasota, Fla, a former New Bremen and Lima resident died at
1:35 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital, Sarasota. He was bor
April 28, 1916 in Harrod, Ohio, the son of Miles and Edna
(Guy) Sprinkel. On April 9, 1939, he married Grace Arthur who
survives. Other surviviors include two sons, Jan of Saverna
Park, Md.; Jay of Sarasota; one daughter, Jill LARRICK of
Park Falls, Wis.; five grandchildren; and one sister, Wanda
PORCELLA of San Antonia, Tex. Mr. Price (sic) had lived in
Lima for many years and was employed by Meadow Gold Dairy
there. He moved to New Bremen and retired as supervisor for
Beatrice Foods Company. He was a World War II veteran and
member of the New Bremen American Legion Post 241. Services
will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Siferd Westwood
Chapel, Lima with the Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial
will follow at Salem Cemetery, Westminster, Ohio. Friends may
call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

p.m. today for Clarence F. Edgington, 84, of 612 N. Blackhoof
St., Wapakoneta. He died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Jack YALE of Waynesfield. Born July 29,
1897 in Waynesfield, he was the son of James and Laura
(Moyer) Edgington. His wife, Myrtle Williams died March 6,
1974. Survivors include three sons; a daughter, Martha Jean

grandchildren; and a sister. Mr. Edgington was a retired

Friday in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. Born
June 13, 1914, in St. Marys, he was the son of Carl and Emma
(Kranz) Althoff. Survivors include two sisters, Marcella
Althoff of Cincinnati and Mrs. Edward (Emma Lou) BERNARD of
St. Henry; and one brother, Eugene Althoff of West
Carrollton. A sister Lillian Althoff and a brother, Ferd
Althoff preceded him in death. Mr. Althoff was retired from
Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in 1977 and was a member of
