Additional Information: Henry C. KELLERMEYER, age 91, retired
carpenter of 125 Hickory Street, died at 1:35 a.m. today at
Joint Township Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient
since Aug 8. He had been seriously ill two months and had
been hospitalized earlier. Mr. Kellermeyer was born April
11, 1880, in Washington township, the son of William and Mary STROH KELLERMEYER. On May 19, 1908 he married
Caroline
SEEWER with whom he was privileged to observe their 63rd
wedding anniversary. Surviving him in addition to his wife
are two daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Mildred) DAUGHERTY,
of
Cincinnati, and Mrs. Edward (Ruth) CLAUSING, of Napoleon, O.,
four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many
friends. One brother and four sisters are deceased. Mr.
KELLERMEYER was employed in carpentry work for many years
previously to his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's
United Church of Christ and the Men's Association. He had
served the church as elder, deacon, and trustee. Funeral
services will be held at 2 P.m. Thursday at St. Pauls church
with the Rev. P. Hubert Konrad officiating. Burial will take
place in Elm Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the Yoder-
Long and Folk Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m.. The body will be removed to the church at noon Thursday
to lie there in state until the hour of the services.

Mrs. Maurice (Mildred KELLERMEYER) DAUGHERTY,
R.N., 67, of
Cincinnati, died ssuddenly Sunday of a heart attack. A native
of St. Marys, she was graduated in 1927 from Memorial High
School and in 1930 from the Deaconess Hospital School of
Nursing in Cincinnati. She was born Feb 22, 1909, the
daughter of Mrs. H.C. KELLERMEYER, Hickory St. St. Marys and
the late H.C. KELLERMEYER. On Aug. 2, 1939 she was married to
Maurice DAUGHERTY, who survives with a son, John of Barbados,
West Indies, a daughter, Mrs. William LIPSKY of
Cincinnati,
three grandchildren, her mother, and a sister, Mrs. Edward
CLAUSING, St. Marys. Services were scheduled for today in
Cincinnati.

Additional Information: Edward W. CLAUSING, 78,
of 125
Hickory Street, St. Marys and formerly of Upper Sandusky,
Findlay, and Napoleon, died at 2:19 a.m. Friday, May 5, at
Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys,
following an extended illness. He had been a patient at the
Valley Nursing Home for the past three years. He was born
February 10, 1911, in Noble Township, Auglaize County, the
son of Herman H. and Matilda (HOWE) CLAUSING. On
April 17,
1941, he married Ruth M. KELLERMEYER, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Edward W. CLAUSING Jr. and
Michael H. CLAUSING, both of Napoleon; three grandchildren;
two brothers, Rev Walter G. CLAUSING and Noah H. CLAUSING,
both of St. Marys; and two sisters, Magdelene SCHULTZ,
Lima,
and Lenora CUSTER, Kettering. He was preceded
in death by two
brothers, Augustav and Florenz. Mr. CLAUSING was also a
member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Napoleon.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Long and
Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will be in Elm Grove
Cemetery, St. Marys. Friends may call at the funeral home
from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Obituary / Additional Information: Mrs. Anna Maria BRUEGGEMAN
died at home on Saturday, Feb 15, after a long siege of lung
fever, at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 27 days. Deceased
was well-known and a highly respected lady. She was born in
the old Fatherland, and crossed the ocean with her parents in
1845. She was married to John Henry BRUEGGEMAN March 12,
1850. To the union were born 2 sons and 3 daughters, of whom
1 son and 2 daughters have already passed to the great
beyond. The union was severed March 11, 1870, through the
death of the husband. Funeral took place Tuesday afternoon,
and the remains were interred in the German Protestant
Cemetery. Rev. Bertrain conducted the services.

BRUEGGEMAN, age 81, died at 11:45 o'clock Monday evening at
his home on New Bremen R.R.1 after a six years illness of a
complication of diseases. Mr. Brueggeman was born on the same
farm where he died, having lived there all his life. He was
born April 11, 1852, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John
BRUEGGEMAN. On May 2, 1876, he married Mary KOEPER, who is
left to mourn his death. They observed their golden wedding
in 1926. There are nine children; Mrs. Charles WITTENBRINK,
Mrs. John KUEST, Mrs. Ed SUDMAN,
Emil BRUEGGEMAN, near New
Bremen, Emilie BRUEGGEMAN, Akron, Laura BRUEGGEMAN at home,
Mrs. William SOLLMAN, Mrs. Edward NEDDERMAN, New Bremen, and
Ed BRUEGGEMAN, at home. There is one sister, Miss Elisa
BRUEGGEMAN, of New Bremen, and a great many friends
surviving. He was a life-long member of St. Paul's Church.
Funeral services are arranged for Friday afternoon at 1:30
o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the St. Paul's church
with the Rev. J.C. Melchert officiating. Burial will take
place in the German Protestant Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Dorothea BRUEGGEMAN, 90, died at her home on New
Bremen rural route 1 at 11 o'clock Sunday evening, July 3.
Complications caused her death after a two weeks illness. She
was born on Nov 3, 1858, in the German Township, Auglaize
county, a daughter of the late Heinrich and Anna SIEMER
KOEPER. On May 2, 1876, she was married to J. William
BRUEGGEMAN, who preceded her in death June 19, 1933, the year
in which they were privileged to celebrate their 57th wedding
anniversary. The surviving children are: Mrs. Anna
WITTENBRINK of New Bremen route 1; Mrs. John KUEST of Minster
route 1, Mrs. Ed SUDMAN, Emil BRUEGGEMAN, Mrs. William
SOLLMAN, Mrs. Ed NEDDERMAN, all of New Bremen; Miss Emilie BRUEGGMAN of Ft. Wayne, Ind; Miss Laura
BRUEGGEMAN, and
Edward BRUEGGEMAN, both at home. There are 16 grandchildren
and 24 great grandchildren. Two children, Amanda and Benjamin
are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday
afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the late residence and at 2
o'clock from the St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church
of which she was a member. Rev. E.H. Bassler will officiate
and burial will be in German Protestant cemetery. Friends may
call at the late residence.

WITTENBRINK, age 74, widely known farmer living near New
Bremen, died at 6 o'clock this morning at Wilson Memorial
hospital where he submitted to an operation for the removal
of his leg. Mr. WITTENBRINK was born March 22, 1872, near New
Bremen, a son of the late Henry and Anna WUEBBLING
WITTENBRINK. In 1903 he married Anna BRUEGGEMAN, who is left
to mourn his death with six children; Mrs. John KIES,
Mrs.
Cecil LONG, Sidney; Mrs. Leonard MOHRMAN, Henry WITTENBRINK
of New Bremen; Walter WITTENBRINK, of St. Marys, and Edwin
WITTENBRINK, at home. He is survived too by his stepmother,
Sophia WITTENBRINK, 90 years of age, 14 grandchildren, a
sister, Mrs. John SCHIERHOLT, and three
brothers Theodore,
Emil and Elmer, all of New Bremen. There are many friends. He
was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed
Church where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon with the Rev. J. C. Melchert officiating.
Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may
call at the family residence amy time from Saturday noon
until the hour of the services.

Anna Marie WITTENBRINK, 78, of New Bremen, who died this
morning at 5 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John W. KIES, R.R. 1, Pemberton. She
had been in ill health for some time, suffering with
complications. The daughter of the late William and Mary KOEPER BRUEGGEMAN, she was born February 14, 1878,
in German
township. She was married February 19, 1903, to Charles
WITTENBRINK who preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1947.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. KIES, Mrs. Cecil LONG, R.R.2
Sidney, Mrs. Leonard MOHRMAN, Henry WITTENBRINK, Walter
WITTENBRINK, Edwin WITTENBRINK, New Bremen, eighteen
grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and seven brothers

LONG, 87, of 11728 Amsterdam Road, Anna, died Saturday,
January 23, 1993, at 9:35 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital,
Sidney. She was born December 22, 1905, in New Bremen, the
daughter of Charles and Anna (BRUEGGEMAN) WITTENBRINK.
On
June 23, 1932, she married Cecil LONG who died December 23,
1973. Survivors include one son, Charles LONG of Anna; two
daughters, Mrs. Karl (Emogene) REINHARDT of
Burke, Virginia,
and Ruby LONG of Anna; three grandchildren, five great-
grandchildren; one brother, Edwin WITTENBRINK of New Bremen;
and one sister Mrs. Leonard (Edna) MOHRMAN of New Bremen. She
was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. A
homemaker, Mrs. Long was a member of St. Paul's United Church
of Christ. Funeral servicers will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in
the Cromes Funeral Home, Sidney, with Dr. Keith Wagner
officiating. Burial will follow in Pearl Cemetery, Swanders.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8

St., New Bremen, died of a heart attack Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 23,
1906 in New Bremen, he was the son of Herman and Caroline
(TOPP) MOHRMAN. On Nov. 14, 1936, he married
Edna WITTENBRINK
who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Miss Vivian
MOHRMAN, Mrs. Thomas (Evelyn) WENNING, both of
New Bremen and
Mrs. Nick (Phyllis) GREVE, Kent; and four
grandchildren. Mr.
Mohrman was preceded in death by three brothers and two
sisters. A retired emmployee of Crown Control, New Bremen.
Mr. MOHRMAN was a member of the New Bremen St. Paul United
Church of Christ, Church Brotherhood and of the New Bremen
Garden Club. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the church,

Saturday, June 22, 1996, at Joint Township District Memorial
Hospital in St. Marys. She was born Dec. 5, 1907, near New
Bremen to Charles and Anna (BRUEGGEMAN) WITTENBRINK.
On Nov.
4, 1936, she married Leonard H. MOHRMAN, who died Nov. 18,
1976. She is survived by three daughters, Vivan MOHRMAN and
Mrs. Thomas (Evelyn) WENNING, both of New Bremen; Phyllis GRIEVE, Sidney; four grandchildren, Michelle
(WENNING)LUTHMAN, Brian WENNING, Gillian and Ian
GRIEVE; two
great-granddaughters; a brother and wife, Edwin and
Brunhilda, New Bremen; and two sisters-in-law, Luella
WITTENBRINK and Isabelle WITTENBRINK, both of New Bremen. She
was preceded in death by two sisters, Amanda KIES

LONG and two brothers, Henry and Walter. Mrs. MOHRMAN was
retired from Crown Controls Corporation. She was a member of
St. Paul United Church of Christ. Services will be at 10:30
a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Jeffrey R. Gerber
and Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will be in

53, R.R.1, New Bremen, formerly of St. Marys, died suddenly
of a heart attack at 6:05 p.m. last evening. He was
pronounced dead on arrival at Joint Township Memorial
hospital. He was stricken at his home. Mr. WITTENBRINK was a
member of the Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys. He farmed and
was an employee of Goodyear for the past twenty-five years.
He was born in German township on March 26, 1913, to Charles
and Anna BRUEGGEMAN WITTENBRINK . On November
16, 1913, he
married Isabella KOHLREISER, who survives along with three
daughters, Mrs. William (Betty) BUSHMAN, Jr.

Bremen, Mrs. Ralph (Doris) WOLFE, Jr. New
Bremen, and Mrs.
Walter (Sharon) FISHBACH, Jr. R.R. 1 New
Bremen. Also
surviving are three sisters, Mrs. John (Amanda) KIES,

Dale R. WITTENBRINK, 21, Route 1, New Bremen, died Monday at
9 a.m. at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. Death
was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Auglaize County
Coroner Richard Harbord reported. Born Oct 21, 1955 in St.
Marys, he was the son of Edwin and Brunhilda (EGBERT)
WITTENBRINK, who survive. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs.
Barry (Joann) BOYER, Route 1, New Bremen , a
brother Thomas
of Route 2, Wapakoneta and the maternal grandmother Mrs.
Roscoe (Lillian) EGBERT, New Bremen. A 1974 graduate of New
Bremen High School, Mr Wittenbrink was member of the New
Bremen FFA, the New Bremen Young Farmers, and the St. Paul
United Church of Christ in New Bremen. He was engaged in
farming. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the St. Paul
United Church of Christ in New Bremen with the Rev. Roger D.
Perl officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant
Cemetery. Friends may call at Vornholt Funeral Home in New
Bremen after 1 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday when
the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until

Herman KUEST, 97, who was born on a farm southwest of New
Bremen, December 8, 1875, the son of the late Henry and Elisa
Wilhelmina NUESSMEYER KUEST, died at 1:00 p.m.
Sunday of
infirmities of old age. He was one of the oldest residents in
the New Bremen area. On February 11th, 1908, he was united in
marriage to Wilhelmina A. BRUEGGEMAN, who preceded him in
death January 16, 1968, and with whom he was privileged to
celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary. He is survived by a
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Emil (Esther) SCHROER
R.R. 1, New Bremen; two daughters Hilda, and Alma KUEST and
one son, Henry KUEST, all of R.R. 1, Minster, with whom he
made his home and who tenderly cared for him; one grandson
and granddaughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. James (Martha) SCHROER;
two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Diana SCHROER; and one
sister, Miss Anna KUEST of New Bremen. He was preceded in
death by two brothers and two sisters. He was a lifetime
member of St. Paul's United Churcho of Christ of New Bremen,
which he had served as elder, deacon, and trustee. Hew was a
faithful attendant as long as his health permitted. He was a
farmer his entire life. For many years he served as a
Democrat central committeeman and on the board of the
elections of German Township. He was also a former German
Township trustee. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at the Vornholt Funeral Home in New Bremen. The
Rev. Roger D. Perl will officiate. Burial will take place in
the German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call at the
Vornholt Funeral Home in New Bremen after 1 p.m. Tuesday and
until the hour of the services on Wednesday.

Obituary / Additional Information: Mrs.
Wilhelmina Anna KUEST, 67, wife of John KUEST, R.R.1,
Minster, died at 6 a.m. today at her home. The couple who
lived south of New Bremen on the Amsterdam Road, would have
observed their 60th wedding anniversary on February 11 of
this year. Mrs. KUEST had been ailing for a number of years
with a heart condition. She was born on March 15, 1880 in
German Township to William and Marie KOEPER
BRUEGGEMAN. On
February 11, 1906, she was married to John KUEST who survives
with a son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. Emil (Esther)
SCHROER, R.R. 1, New Bremen; two daughters, Hilda and Alma
and a son Henry, all at home and one grandson James Schroer.
Also surviving are three sisters Miss Laura BRUEGGEMAN, R.R.
1, New Bremen, Mrs. William (Emma) SOLLMAN and
Mrs. Ed (Ida) NEDDERMAN, St. Mrsys and a
brother, Edward BRUEGGEMAN of R.R.
1 New Bremen. Two brothers and four sisters preceded in her
in death. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of
Christ, New Bremen. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at
the Vornholt Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard B. Meckstroth
officiating. Burial will be in the German Protestant
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vornholt Funeral Home
anytime after 1 p.m. Thursday until the services.

of Rt. 1, New Bremen, was pronounced dead on arrival at Joint
Township District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, November 16,
at 10:20 a.m. after suffering a heart attack at his home. He
was born November 26, 1911, in New Knoxville, the son of
Christ and Lena BUDDEMEYER SCHROER. On May 4,
1940, he
married Esther KUEST, who survives. Survivors also include on
son James SCHROER of Rt. 1, New Bremen; two grandchildren;
two sisters, Mrs. Edna RODEHEFFER of St. Marys,
and Mrs.
James (Verneda) EWING of Buckland; and two
brothers, Elmer
SCHROER and Harvey SCHROER, both of New Knoxville. A retired
farmer, Mr. SCHROER was a former member of the Auglaize
County Fair Board for 30 years. He was also a self-employed
masonry contractor. He had also driven a bus for New Bremen
school for 15 years. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, November 19, at Gilberg Funeral Home, New Bremen,
with Rev. Dr. Wade J. Schemmel officiating. Burial will be in
Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call at the
funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial

St. Marys. She was born Jan 5, 1909, near New Bremen to John
H. and Wilhelmina (BRUEGGEMAN) KUEST. On May 4,
1940, she
married Emil E. SCHROER, who died in November 1986. She is
survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Martha
SCHROER, New Bremen, two grandchildren, Daniel and Diana
SCHROER; two sister, Hilda and Alma KUEST, New Bremen; and a
brother, Henry, New Bremen. Mrs. SCHROER was a homemaker and
prior to her marriage had been the manager of the grocery in
the Arcade Department Store. She was a lifetime member of St.
Paul United Church of Christ where she was a Sunday School
teacher for many years. Services will be at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday at Gilberg Funeral Home with the Rev. John W.
Tostrick officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery,

1- Mrs. Fredonia Elise SUDMAN, 71, R.R, New Bremen, died
yesterday afternoon at 3:15 at Joint Township Memorial
Hospital, St. Marys, where she was taken Sunday for
treatment. She had been in ill health for three years and
her condition became serious Sunday. Death was due to
complication. She was born August 4, 1882, west of New
Bremen, to William and Mary KOEPER BRUEGGEMAN.

Death was due to complications after a two year illness. A
native of New Bremen, Mr. SUDMAN was born March 1, 1909 to
the late Edward and Fredonia BRUGGEMAN SUDMAN.
On August 6,
1931, he married Helen FARK who servives with two daughters.

Additional Information: New Bremen, O. March 14-After a three
years illness with a complication of diseases, J.H. William
SOLLMAN, age 72, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at his home west
of New Bremen on Highway 274, on R.R. 1, New Bremen. Mr.
Sollman had submitted to two operations since last August for
the amputation of his legs; the second operation being just a
few weeks ago. His condition since then had been serious. He
was a native of German township, born near New Bremen on
April 12, 1882, the son of the late William and Elsie HOFF
SOLLMAN. On December 11, 1919, he married Emma BRUEGGEMAN,
who is left to mourn his death along with a son and daughter-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Earl SOLLMAN, who reside with them.
One daughter died in infancy. Mr. Sollman is survived in
addition to his wife and son by a brother, Lafe, New Bremen.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. There are
many friends. He was a life-long member of St.Paul's
Evangelical and Reformed church. Funeral services are
arranged for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilberg & Hegemier
Funeral Home with the Rev. E.H. Bassler officiating. Burial

Additional Information: Edward NEDDERMAN, 91, formerly of 418
S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday July 29, at
Auglaize Acres where he had been a resident for the past
seven years. He was born September 19, 1893, northwest of New
Bremen, the son of William and Wilhelmina NIEMEYER
NEDDERMAN.
On May 28, 1925, he married Ida Caroline BRUEGGEMAN, who died
July 18, 1977. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul, who died July 30,
1950, four brothers, and two sisters. Mr. NEDDERMAN was a
farmer and later in life he and his wife moved to St. Marys.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World
War I in Europe, where he was wounded in action. Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 1, at
Gilberg Funeral Home, New Bremen, with Rev. John W. Tostrick
officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery,

three miles northwest of New Bremen on New Bremen R.R. died
at 6:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her sister-in-
law, Mrs. William BRUEGGEMAN. She had lived all of her life

1861, as the daughter of the late John and Anna EVERSMAN
BRUEGGEMAN. She was the last of the BRUEGGEMAN family. For

well known resident of the New Knoxville vicinity died at
10:30 Wednesday evening in the home of her son Henry Eversman
Jr. in Shelby County. Mrs. EVERSMAN's maiden
name was Ensian VENOTRICK and she was born near
Wapakoneta on January 1, 1843
and was in the 89th year at the time of her passing. Her
mother died when she was quite young and she resided in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. D. WARREN, in Washington
township. In
the year 1863 she was united in marriage to Mr. H. H.
EVERSMAN, who died January 1, 1908. To them were born seven
children, two of whom preceded the mother in death. Those
left to mourn are the following: George EVERSMAN, New Bremen,
Henry EVERSMAN, at whose home she died, Fred EVERSMAN, New
Knoxville, Philip EVERSMAN, Kettlersville, and Mrs. Sarah KOGGE, Jacksonville, Fla., 24 grandchildren and 23
great-
grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

20- Mrs. Louise M. ELSHOFF, 95, of 307 S. Main Street, died
Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the home of her son-in-law and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Orley HENKENER in New
Knoxville, with
whom she had resided for the past 13 years. Death was due to
complications of age after an illness of 19 months. Mrs.
ELSHOFF, one of the village's oldest citizens, was an eighty-
year member of the First United Church of Christ. She also
was a member of the German Bible Class and the Women's Guild
of the church. Born near New Bremen, April 11, 1868, she was
the daughter of the late Fred and Wilhelmina REHN. Her first
marriage was March 21, 1889, to William F. EVERSMAN. He died
February 22, 1911. Her second marriage was to William KUCK
and was an event of October 15, 1914. He preceded her in
death March 25, 1927. Her third husband William ELSHOFF, to
whom whe was wed April 4, 1930, died March 25, 1949.
Surviving are five children, Mrs. LeRoy (Lucinda) LINK,
Wapakoneta, Vernie EVERSMAN, R.R.2, Wapakoneta, Edward F.
EVERSMAN R.R. 1 New Bremen, Amos L. EVERSMAN, R.R. 1,
Magacore, O., and Mrs. Orley (Alvina) HENKENER of New
Knoxville, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alice EVERSMAN of
Wapakoneta, nine step children, 16 grandchildren, 33 great
grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and one sister,
Mrs. Benjamin W. KATTERHEINRICH of R.R. 1, New
Knoxville.
Four children preceded her in death. Funeral services will
take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Vornholt funeral home
in New Bremen. The Rev. J.M. Michael will officiate. Burial
will take place in the Evangelical Protestant cemetery, New
Knoxville. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon
Tuesday.

Leroy E. LINK, 80, of 609 South Maple Street, Wapakoneta,
died at 10:35 p.m. yesterday in Joint Township Hospital where
he had been a patient about a month. He was a native of West
Liberty, O., born to Fred and Mattie LEITER LINK
on August 7,
1868. On October 5, 1911, he married Lucinda EVERSMAN, who
survives with four daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Louise) HARRIS
of
Waterville, Maine, Mrs. John (Goldie Fay) WEBER
of R.R.3,
Wapakoneta, Mrs. George (Rosine) RUCK and Mrs.
Wm. (Kathryn) FERGUSON, both of Wapakoneta,;
three sons, Virgil of R.R.3,
Wapakoneta, Luther of Bellefontaine and Kenneth LINK, of
Wapakoneta. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren; a half-sister, Mrs. Carl (Edith) WINTZER
and a
half-brother Edward LINK, both of Wapakoneta. One son,
Woodrow, is deceased. Mr. LINK was a member of the St. Mark's
Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta and the Lutheran Brotherhood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the
Siferd Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. William
Medford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. LINK was born June 17, 1890, in Auglaize County, the
daughter of William and Louise REHN EVERSMAN.
On October 5,
1911, she married LeRoy LINK, who died in January 1969. A
homemaker, Mrs. Link was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran
Church of Wapakoneta. Survivors include two sons, Luther LINK
of Bellefontaine and Kenneth LINK of Wapakoneta; four
daughers, Mrs. Wilbur(Louise) HARRIS of Andover, NJ, Mrs.
George (Rosine) RUCK and Mrs. William (Kathryn) FERGUSON,
both of Wapakoneta, and Mrs. John (Goldie Fay) WEBER of St.
Marys; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; four great-
great- grandchildren; one brother Edward EVERSMAN of New
Bremen; and one sister, Alvina HENKENER of New
Knoxville.
Mrs. Link was preceded in death by two sons, Woodrow LINK and
Virgil LINK, and by one brother Vernie EVERSMAN. Services
will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Patrick Heinl Chapel
of Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Pastor William
Winzler will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory
Gradens near St. Marys. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memmorial contributions

p.m. in Auglaize Acres. He was born November 20, 1914, in
Auglaize County, the son of LeRoy and Lucinda (EVERSMAN)
LINK. His mother resides in Auglaize Acres. On December 11,
1945, he married Helen M. TESTER, who survives. Other
survivors include one son, Steve A. LINK of Lima; one
daughter, Julie C. LINK of Zanesville; two grandchildren; two
brothers, Luther LINK of Bellefontaine and Keneth LINK of
Wapakoneta; and four sisters, Louise HARRIS of Andover, New

FERGUSON of Wapakoneta. One brother died in infancy. Mr. LINK
was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Moulton and a
retired employee of the Detjen Grain Company and Provico-
Moulton. He was a veteran of the United States Army during
World War II. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Friday in the Patrick Heinl Funeral Home in Wapakoneta with
Pastor Wayne Hoedt officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven

M. Link, 58, Parker Shady Acres, St. Marys and formerly of
Wapakoneta, died at 3 p.m. Monday at her residence due to an
illness for the past year and a half. Born May 9, 1923, she
was the daughter of John and Olla (KNOCH) CONKLE
who survive.
On July 3, 1942 she was married to Kenneth F. LINK who
survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David
(Connie) ROHRER, Lima; and one son Larry
(Smokey),
Cridersville; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs.
Robert(Leila) PIERSTORFF; and one brother, John
F. CONKLE,
Jr. One granddaughter proceeded her in death. She was a clerk
typist for the past thirty years at Goodyear in St. Marys and
a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta. Services
will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Yoder Long and Folk
Funeral Home with the Rev. William C. Winzeler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Memory Gardens. Friends

John F. WEBER, 73, of Bay Road, Wapakoneta, died Thursday,
September 16, 1993, at 11:44 a.m. at his residence, following
a brief illness. He was born July 3, 1920, in Wapakoneta, the
son of Edward and Anna (LINK) WEBER. On August
17, 1944, he
married Goldie F. LINK, who survives. Survivors also include
one son, Randall T. WEBER of Columbus; one son and daughter-
in-law, Tim J. and Cheryl WEBER of Wapakoneta,; four

farmer, Mr. Weber had been a member of the Auglaize County
Fair Board for nine years and had served as president for two
years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Churdch,
Glynwood. He was a past president and former director of the
Ohio Landrace Association. He had been an advisor for 14
years with the Moulton Livestock Raiser 4-H Club and served
on the County Advisory Board. He was an honorary member of
the Wapakoneta FFA. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of
Eagles, aerie 691, Wapakoneta. Mass of Christian Burial will
be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church,
Glynwood, with Father Thomas J. Grilliot officiating. The
family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

died in the HCR Manor Care Monday, March 22,

a.m. She was born at Hamilton on Nov 18, 1910, to John and
Ora WITTMAN WAGNER. She was a 1928 graduate of
Notre Dame
Academy; a 1933 graduate of the University of Cincinnati
College of Music with a master degree in music and literature
a 1948 graduate of the University Of Dayton with a masters of
arts degree. She was employed as a teacher of music and
English for the Ft. Loramie High School for 40 years,
retiring in 1975. She also taught at the St. John's School at
Maria Stein and also taught private music lessons in her New
Bremen home. She was the first chair violinist in the Lima
Symphony Orchestra and was the first organist of her parish,
Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at New Bremen. She is survived
by five nieces and nephews, Alberta (Gerald) WIRSCH
of
Fairfield, Joan (Richard) BILTZ of Corapolis,
Pa., Barbara
(Virgil) SPARKS of Cincinnati, Raymond (Carol) FUERST of
Hamilton and Peggy (John) PALERMO of Hudson,
Colo; 19 great
nieces and greeat-nephews; and 18 great-great-nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one

of Pearl St. Wapakoneta, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, March
23, 1999 at Auglaize Acres. He was born Sept. 27, 1921 at
Pusheta Twp., Auglaize County, to Theodore and Lucinda KAECK
RUCK. On May 27, 1943 he married Rosine D. LINK.
She
survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Elaine and Jeff SAWMILLER of Wapakoneta; one son, Scott RUCK of
Lima; and two
grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Nicole STEINKE.
He was
preceded in death by three brothers Orville, Floyd and
Delbert RUCK, and a sister, Lavera EISERT. Mr.
RUCK was owner
of Ruck's Decorating and prior to that was retired from Clark
Equipment at Lima. He also drove a mail truck for the Ted
Ruck Co. at Wapakoneta. He was a member of the St. Paul's
United Church of Christ at Wapakoneta. He was also a member
of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1170
at Wapakoneta, where he served as exalted ruler in 1959 and
1984. He was a 1940 graduate of Blume High School and a
member of the Wapakoneta Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had
served as a Wapakoneta city councilman from 1977-88. An Elk's
memorial served will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wapakoneta
Elks Lodge. The family will receive friends at the lodge
following the service. Memorial contributions may be directed
to the Wapakoneta Elks Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are
being conducted by the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home at

Kenova, West Virginia, son of Frank and Loretta (FERRELL)
FERGUSON. On October 5, 1950, he married Kathryn A. Link, and

daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Diane FERGUSON, Fairfield,
California; Dennis and Nancy FERGUSON, Wapakoneta; William A.
"Bill" and JoAnn FERGUSON, Summerville, South

Galloway, Ohio; Nina and John STEINKE, Wapakoneta; seven
grandchildren, Jay and Sara FERGUSON, David and Chris MELLOTT, Perry HOLTSBERRY,
Cory and Jordan STEINKE. Mr.
Ferguson had retired in 1987 from Ford Motor Company Lima.
Prior to that he had worked with the Westinghouse Corp. in
Lima, and was a sales representative with the Allstate
Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran
Church, Wapakoneta, and served on the church building
committee and the church council. He was past exalted ruler
of the Wapakoneta Elks, #1170. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Navy having served during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was
a charter and life member of the Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post
#8445, and a 1943 graduate of Blume High School. Services
will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Bayliff & Eley
Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Kieran P. Darcy
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery,
Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where an Elks'
memorial service will be at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Military

Bellefontaine until his retirement in 1978. He served in
management capacity. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and
served during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the
Bellefontaine Disable American Veterans. He was a member of
the First Lutheran Church. He was a past president of the
Logan County Humane Society of which he was an original
founder. He was the president of the Council on Aging with
the Senior Citizens Group 2. Funeral services wil begin
Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine,
with Pastor David Moreland officiating. Burial will follow in
Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty. Friends may call

preceded him in death. A retired farmer, Mr. EVERSMAN had

Furniture City, both in Moulton. He was a member of Trinity

three years. Mrs. Millie EVERSMAN was a native of Washington
township. She was born on October 1, 1896, a daughter of
Thomas and Delcena (BOTKIN) TESTER. Her marriage
to Vernie
EVERSMAN, well known farmer and trustee of Moulton township
occurred on December 13, 1917. She is survived by her husband
Vernie EVERSMAN, her mother Delcena TESTER, 407 East Lima
Street, two sisters, Mrs. Maud HASTINGS, Lima
and Mrs. Harry ANKERMAN, 407 E. Lima Street and
four brothers Lee TESTER,
east of Wapakoneta, Clarence TESTER, west of Wapakoneta Tom
TESTER, Ansonia and Russell TESTER of St. Marys. She was a
member of Trinity Lutheran church at Moulton. Funeral
arrangements have been made for 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, at
Trinity Lutheran church at Moulton, following a brief service
at 1:30 at the home with the Rev. Gerald E. Farno, pastor of
Trinity Lutheran, officiating. Interment will be at the
Evangelical Protestant cemetery at New Knoxville. The body
will remain at the Siferd & Brookhart funeral home until
time for the services.

New Bremen resident Viola L. EVERSMAN, 85 of Route 1, died at
1:53 p.m. Friday, October 26, 1990, in the Valley Nursing
Home, St. Marys. She was born December 12, 1904, in St. Marys
Township, the daughter of Louis and Ann (HEITMAN)
SCHIERHOLT.
On December 12, 1925, she married Edward F. EVERSMAN, who
survives. Also surviving are one son, Adrian EVERSMAN of
Route 1, New Bremen; five grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; and one brother, Lionel SCHIERHOLT of Lyman,
S.C. One son Edward, preceded her in death. A homemaker,
Mrs. EVERSMAN was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary
323 and a life member of the St. Paul United Church of
Christ, New Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.

Edward F. EVERSMAN, 94, of Route 1, died at 6:05 p.m. Sunday
July 21, 1991 in the Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys. He was
born July 31, 1896 in New Knoxville, Auglaize County, the son
of William Frederick and Louise Amalie Marie (REHN)
EVERSMAN.
On December 12, 1925, he married Viola L. SCHIERHOLT, who
died October 26, 1990. Survivors include one son, Adrian
EVERSMAN of Edinboro, Pa.; five grandchildren;three great-

Knoxville. One son Edward, preceded him in death. Mr.
EVERSMAN was a farmer and a World War I Army Veteran. He was

R.R.1 New Bremen died Saturday, January 8 of a heart attack
which occured while he was driving his car near Ft. Wayne,
Ind. He was born in St. Marys Township on Jan. 29, 1927, the
son of Edward F. And Viola (SCHIERHOLT) EVERSMAN
who are
still living in New Bremen. He married Joan WINT on Dec. 25,
1953. Survivors include two daughters, Joy KANTNER,
Bowling
Green; and Cynthia EVERSMAN at home; two grandchildren and
Adrian EVERSMAN of St. Marys. Mr. EVERSMAN was an army
veteran of W.W.II. A member of American Legion Post 322,
Auglaize County Disaster Service, the Fraternal Order of
Police, the Emergency Buckeye Team and the Truth for Youth
Center in Lima. He was employed at the Goodyear Tire and
Rubber Co. for 35 years. He was also a member of the U.S.
Auto Club and The Old Timers Club, Winchester, Ind. Speedway.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the
Miller Funeral Home, St. arys with Rev. John Harding
officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Tuesday, Jan 11 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Moulton, local auctioneer and real estate agent with the
Stinebaugh Real Estate Agency, St. Marys, died at 5:05 a.m.
today in St. Marys Memorial Hospital where he had been
admitted 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after suffering a heart attack
at his home. A native of Auglaize County he was born Oct. 9,
1901, the son of Wiliam and Louise (REHN) EVERSMAN.
His
mother, Mrs. William ELSHOFF, New Knoxville,
survives. On
Oct.19, 1947, he was married to Mrs. Alice ZWIEBEL who
survives. Also surviving are two children, Mrs. Floyd Peart,
723 Williard St., Toledo and Richard, 2075 Price St., Toledo;
four grandchildren, three brothers, Vernie, RR2., Wapakoneta,

New Knoxville-Funeral services for Amos EVERSMAN, 69,
formerly of here, were held Tuesday in Kent, Ohio. Mr.
EVERSMAN, who had been residing in Weirsdale, Florida, died
Saturday, June 29, 1974, at the home of his daughter in Rome,
Georgia, where he had been visiting. Death was the result of
an apparent heart attack. He is survived by three daughters,

77, 205 E. German Street, New Knoxville, died on Wednesday,
May 25, 1983, at 9 a.m. in the Joint Twonship District
Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for four days.
He died as a result of a heart attack. He was born on May 9,
1906, in New Knoxville, the son of John and Elizabeth
(LUTTERBECK) HENKENER. He married Alvina
EVERSMAN on Oct 12,
1928. She survives along with one son, B.J. HENKENER,
Chalmer, Fla, three grandchildren and one brother, Leonard
HENKENER, New Knoxville. He was preceded in death by one
brother, Raymond HENKENER, and one sister Mrs. Lewis
(Loretta) KIPP. He was a member of the First
United Church of
Christ, New Knoxville. Mr. HENKENER was retired and the
former owner of Orley's Service Station in New Knoxville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the
First United Church of Christ with the Rev. Richard W. Sather
officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilger Ruhe Cemetery,

William EVERSMAN, age 82, retired farmer of the New Knoxville
area, died at 12:10 o'clock this morning at the home of his
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert PRUETER,

South Front Street. He had been ailing for five years with a
complication of diseases and had been bedfast for the last
four and a half months. Mr. EVERSMAN was born
at New
Knoxville on Dec 20, 1866, a son of the late Harmon and Else
Anna VENOTRICK EVERSMAN, and he had always
lived in this
county. On April 25, 1889, he married Marie Magdalene
KATTERHENRY, who preceded him in death. To them were born
five children, four of whom survive, as follows: Mrs. Albert
(Amanda) PRUETER and Mrs. George J. (Emma) ALTHOFF,
St.
Marys, Harvey and Lorenz EVERSMAN, New Bremen. One daughter,
Mrs. Raymond KUHLHORST is deceased. There are
eight
grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One brother,
Phillip EVERSMAN, New Knoxville, and one sister, Mrs. Sarah KOGGE, Jacksonville, Fla are also left to mourn
his death.
There are many more relatives and a great many friends. Mr.
EVERSMAN was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical and
Reformed church having been confirmed in that faith on April
7, 1882. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at
1 o'clock at the Yoder & Son Funeral home and at 1:30
o'clock at the St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church
with the Rev. John L. Schmidt officiating. Burial will take
place in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may

paralysis. Last Sunday when she was first stricken and a
